The communities of Brookfield, Danbury and New Milford have
several places where you can catch live shows, enjoy a performance
at a local coffeehouse or a summer concert in the park. Or travel to
the
world’s most famous performing city to see more great productions
on Broadway.

TRANSPORTATION
Barnbeck Place is cut into the hillside at the junction
of US Route 202 and Connecticut Route 133. It is easily accessible to major highways,
including I-84.
Metro-North Railroad brings you through Connecticut and into Manhattan,
with the closest station in Danbury, a 5.4 mile drive from your front
door.
HART – the local bus system – has stops conveniently
located throughout the county. There will be a stop located on Federal
Road, just outside your front door! HART connects with the Metro-North
system to provide even easier access to the area’s attractions.
Greyhound offers long-range bus trips out of its Danbury station.
Amtrak
provides passenger service from Stamford (connect via Metro-North)
and several other Connecticut cities to many destinations around
the United States. Whether you’re flying for pleasure or business,
there are several airports close to Barnbeck Place.
Danbury Municipal
Airport is roughly 8 miles away. Hartford’s Bradley International
airport is New England’s second largest airport, and offers
more than 268 commercial flights a day. |
